In a changing radio booth for the Baltimore Ravens, former players Dennis Pitta, Jarret Johnson and Justin Forsett will return to the team’s broadcast on 98 Rock and WBAL NewRadio 1090 for a second season.
Last year, the Ravens offered a rotating quintet of analysts for their radio listeners, with Pitta, Johnson, Forsett and Todd Heap each getting four games to partner with the team’s full-time crew of analyst Stan White and play-by-play announcer Gerry Sandusky.
For the upcoming season, Pitta and Johnson will be full-time analysts with Forsett working as the sideline reporter for road games. 98 Rock’s Kirk McEwen will work the sideline for home games and Stan White, who has been the Ravens’ color analyst since 2006 will be featured on the pre and postgame show.
“This trio of former Ravens did an outstanding job from the broadcast booth last season,” Ravens senior vice president of corporate sales and business development Kevin Rochlitz said, referring to Pitta, Johnson and Forsett. “Their enthusiasm for the game and wealth of football knowledge was evident, and they complimented Gerry Sandusky exceptionally well. We look forward to hearing their insight again in what we believe will be an exciting year of Ravens football.”
Sandusky remains the constant in the Ravens new radio booth, entering his 12th season as the team’s play-by-play announcer.
