Chicago’s number one DJ and long time Barstool Sports affiliate Dante the Don announced in a blog post on Tuesday, that Barstool Sports will be releasing a new live music interview series called Barstool Backstage.
In the blog post Dante explains the thought process behind Barstool Backstage by saying, “With the announcement of live music being allowed again, and the return of concerts, and festivals we saw an opportunity to showcase and feature some really great acts. Due to their prolonged absence, there seems to be a newfound, or re-found, sense of appreciation for live music again”.
Dante the Don also mentions several well-known Barstool Sports personalities and behind the scenes talent in the blog that were involved with the creation of Barstool Backstage.
“Introducing Barstool Backstage. A little project that the super talented Tevo (producer, editor, meme team member) and Youngstown Bob (graphic design), and I bootstrapped and have been working on for the past couple of months. And we’re really happy to bring to light.
“Another well-known Barstool Sports personality that Dante mentions being in the mix is Barstool Eddie (co-host of the Dave Portnoy Show with Eddie & Company). Dante states, “We were lucky enough to have some other Barstool personalities, like Eddie, join in to discuss with these musicians what the past year without playing in front of crowds has been like…”.
Dante also touches on the thought process behind Barstool Backstage in the blog by saying, “With the announcement of live music being allowed again, and the return of concerts, and festivals we saw an opportunity to showcase and feature some really great acts.
