Audience engagement company Futuri is helping creators through their program POST. The platform allows its users to upload audio, add texts and images and turn the content into video.

The platform is reportedly gaining popularity among television broadcasters following the release of a new version tailored to their needs. According to Inside Radio, more television companies look to capitalize on the growing audio medium to reach their audiences.

“Today’s audiences don’t think of media brands only in terms of ‘TV’ or ‘radio’. Quality content, be it video or audio, is what gets consumers engaged,” said Futuri CEO Daniel Anstandig.

POST comes equipped with scheduling tools, video tools, and search engine optimization. In addition to ingesting and automatically editing a TV newscast’s audio feed, Futuri says the TV version of POST will also swap out the television commercials with programmatic ad markers.

“The way we’ve customized the POST podcasting systems for the unique needs of television broadcasters will help them quickly capture the audience and revenue growth opportunities that the explosive growth of audio has created,” added Anstandig.

The 2024 presidential election is two years out, but that isn’t stopping people in the news media from discussing who they would consider voting for when those elections come around.

During Tuesday’s edition of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” host Joe Rogan stated that he’s jumping on board the Ron DeSantis for president train.

“So all this stuff is happening while we have a dead man as a president,” Rogan said. “I think Ron DeSantis would work as a good president. I mean, what he’s done for Florida has been admirable.”

Rogan went on to state that what DeSantis has done for the state of Florida during his tenure as governor is why he will likely consider voting for him should the politician run for president in 2024.

“I feel like what he did for Florida, a lot of people gave him a lot of grief, but ultimately he was correct,” Rogan said. “He was correct when it comes to like deaths, he was correct. And when it comes to protecting all vulnerable populations, he was correct in terms of distribution of monoclonal antibodies.”

“He was furious when the government tried to pull those; they were trying to pull very effective treatments. You know he is not perfect. He’s a human being, but, um, what he’s done is stand up for freedoms.”

“Reuters News plays an important role in Thomson Reuters strategy, and we look forward to working with Paul to deliver for our customers and drive long-term growth for our business.”

Bascobert will be working out of New York and report to Hasker. Meanwhile, Galloni will continue overseeing editorial content and report to Bascobert. In addition, Reuters finance chief Matthew Keen will remain as interim president until Bascobert begins his tenure on Sept. 19.
