Emmy award-winning TV personality Jane Clauss has joined “The Steve Cochran Show” on 890 WLS-AM in Chicago, with her tenure beginning this week.
He served as the Vice President and General Manager of WLS-TV in Chicago, as well as with ABC in Los Angeles and New York.
Cochran will be the station’s fifth morning host in the last ten years.
Cochran's most recent job in the city was over at rival WGN-AM, where he was also a morning host since 2013.
Cochran is familiar with the Chicago market as he previously hosted mornings on Nexstar Media news/talk WGN 720-AM.
As part of his aggressive campaign, the GOP candidate will host a two-hour show on the Cumulus-owned station.
The new show will debut Sunday, May 1st, and airs every Sunday from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm
Chicago radio veteran Ramblin’ Ray Stevens will be filling in until the station “find a permanent replacement.”
Darlas will bring listeners inside exclusive events with access normally reserved for entertainment insiders.
